Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond is interested in bringing Ireland u21 international Marc Wilson back to Dean Court next season.

The 19-year-old Portsmouth midfielder recently extended his loan spell with the Cherries until the end of the current campaign, but Bond is already making plans to sign the Belfast-born teenager on a season-long loan deal next term.

"He's a contracted player to Portsmouth and I think Harry (Redknapp) is comfortable with us helping his development here," Bond said

"If Harry doesn't think he's going to be ready for them and was prepared to let him come on a season-long loan and Marc wanted to come, I'd love to take him."

Wilson has made eight appearances for the League One side since his temporary switch to Dean Court was agreed in January.
